Hello, I just wanted to say that I finally got my hardware removed after almost 2 yrs of pain. I had leg pain, one side of my body was numb from the hardware put in, and it just kept getting worse. Went through all the testing, and found it to be that my body is rejecting the hardware. I just went on Feb 24th, 2014, and my leg pain is gone, all my pain was gone. I stayed one night in the hospital, went home, and it has been 2 weeks, and I have this severe stabbing pain right below the left side of my stitches in my back. I have no idea what it is, when I move it's stabbing pain. I was all happy that I have my life back and I was going to start exercising, but now this pain is awful. My pain meds do not touch this pain. I want to go to the er, but all they will do like they have in the past is just give me a shot and send me home. I do not see my dr until march 20th, as he is out of town next week for my follow up. I am going to call his office in the morning, but I am just at a crossroad, and I do not know what to do. My dr is not in his office tomorrow, so I do not know what they will do. I am scared that there will be something on the ct, if I get one, cause god knows nothing will show up on the xray and make me look stupid, like it always does, but I really need this pain to go away. It is horrible. And it is the only pain I have. All other pain has been taken care of. This is bad... Does anyone have any advice or suggestion? I know I am not a big help, but I have had a L3-L4 spinal fusion which did not take.
