02/18/2014 Had l-4 to L-5.fusion. Had L5 to s1 done 11 years ago.
Out of nowhere extreme pain came back. Mri showed l4 -l5 disc slipped 12 mm.
Dr decided L-4 to S-1 was best approach. They removed all older titanium and tried to fuse L-4 to L5 but kept getting Dural tears. New hardware was implanted from L-4 to S-l. They were not able to inject my bone and syn. bone mixture into rear of L-4 to L-5 due to 2 dura tears. Constant pain even on meds. and have been told when I see Dr. again (04/02/14) xray may show they will need to go in from front and try again. Thighs are very unstable. Has anyone had this condition?
