New here

Hi everyone! About two years ago I was misdiagnosed with spondylolisthesis, it wasn't until this year that we found out that I actually have bilateral pars fractures of my L3 L4 and L5. Unfortunately since it wasn't caught immediately the bone calcified and will never heal. I am a 20 year old collegiate athlete. I have had multiple facet joint injections, epidurals, I was in a back brace for 3 months, have tried every rehab technique under the sun but nothing has helped. I decided that I can't live my life in constant pain and I am getting a fusion of the 3 vertebra next Tuesday. Its approaching quickly and I'm becoming more and more nervous. I'm very happy that I found this forum before next week!
