Long Term Prognosis

Over the years, I have had two cervical fusions performed. 1st One in 2001 on Level 6/7. Then in 2012, I had a double fusion done at Levels 4/5 and 5/6. I woke up one day in significant pain and then the next day, woke up unable to move my right arm. The second surgery was successful, and I regained most of the movement in my arm. I still have minimal neck pain, but not usually enough to take anything stronger than Extra Strength Tylenol. My question is what are the long term effects and prognosis of Spinal Stenosis?
