How many times do we all want to hear or say those words!!!!!!!
We all know it, we had all sort of problems, discomfort, pain, etc with our spinal condition. We went to see a number of doctors and finally the decision was surgery
We had the surgery, we are in our hospital bed, sore, hurting, in pain, but its really the surgical pain. After all, the surgeon just opened us up and started to work wonders with our spine.
We go home and still deal with the post surgical pain. But that slowly disappears and we are then left with the post surgical recovery phase. This is where we have to do all the work. The medical field has done their job, now, its up to us to finish it.
- I feel great! The pain in my neck, the numbness in my hands all disappeared!
- The tingling pain crawling from my hip down my leg has stopped
- That intense stabbing pain in my lower back is no longer there.
That all sounds so good, doesnt it? But along with that we also have some down times when the pain comes back to an extent. But lets not dwell on that.
Instead, now that you are free from your previous pain, what are you doing to make sure you no longer have that pain and what are you doing to make sure you do not wind up on a table again for a surgeon to work on your spine!
This to me, is probably the most important topic on this forum.
You've been there
And you dont want to go back
