Pain is worse after L4-5 S1 Fusion

I had my spinal fusion 3 months ago and ever since the surgery, I have been in worse pain. I am on Oxycodone, which I am still having to take every 4 hours around the clock. I have had an MRI and Xray which showed that all the rods and screws are in place. I have had 2 epidermal injections which did not help with the pain. My surgeon is now sending me to a Neurologist. My question is this- what can he do for me since nothing else has worked?
