Contralateral Symptoms. Lateral Shift

Anyone here had contralateral symptoms where the pain you felt was opposite to what the MRI showed. (right sided herniation with left leg symptoms). And Also did you have experience a lateral shift to where you it would be painful to correct your shift. I found this medical research paper and this is quite similar to my situation. Although I have mostly corrected my shift. I still feel like it likes to go back to the the position to where my hips stick out. Not sure if i can post a link but you can search the web and find what i am talking about : search lateral shift disc herniation.
