Ongoing Lower back pain

Hi, I have been experiencing lower back pain for over 5 years now and have to keep getting treatment all the time as when I stop the treatment the pain starts getting worse. The doctors never told me to go for an MRI until I recently injured it 5 months ago and turned out it was a prolapsed disc, I had woken up during the night with intense pain down my left leg and that stayed with me for 4 days until it settled down, was getting physio and leg pain started to get better how ever still have a numb foot, but the back pain increased. I was told to keep doing what I am doing physio, pain meds after the MRI as the leg pain had settled down and was more in the back. Now my back pain has settled down and now I have hip issues I have been experiencing this hip pain for over a week now and find it painful to turn in bed to my left and right side , the medication only numbs the pain but it's always there now.
I am due to see the back specialist for a follow up appointment this week, I have seen 2 back specialists in 5 months and they still say no surgery is needed as when I saw them those times the majority of the pain was in my back not my leg / hips. Now it's shifted, also I am obese and have been told to loose the weight aswel but don't have any motivation what so ever with having to deal with this pain and I really don't think this will fix my injury. I am getting sick and tired of getting the run around and want to be freed from this pain....
I hate having to take medication all the time and feel so tired and irritable.
