MRI help

I have had chronic left side pain and upper midback burning. My dr tentatively diagonosed intercostal neuralgia. I had an MRI thoracic spine done. There was no reasons found for my pain. I have T9/10 disc bulging not clearly contacting a compression cord. Also degenerative change involving facet joints at L3/4 and L 4/5 with listhesis and narrowing of the L3 and L4 neural foramina. Can anyone help me understand this and should I get another reading of the MRI? Could any of this cause the pain I have had for 7 months?
