Finally Got it!

I have been struggling for a long time with pain meds, injections, pain mixed with weakness, etc... I found a good doctor in Jan/Feb 14, who is giving me the best solution he can. I agreed to an SCS implant, but that process started in late JAN.

So, I waited, got injections to help during the wait (his idea), waited, got a psych eval (required by ins), waited.... called around... waited.. got a premature approval.... waited... and finally got approvals last week! I had to wait over the weekend, but I got scheduled yesterday for a trial surgery next week. Four months later I finally got it!

I am looking at my approval letter and want to frame it. :) I just had to tell someone the news!

  • Great news! I hope that you are one of the success stories we read about with the trial........and then the permanent implant.
Best of luck to you, and do frame that letter........let today be the beginning of your new life.
