I am getting my permanent SCS in 12 days. I have heard so many different things. I am going through St. Jude's and am getting the leads not paddles. Mine is for cervical neck pain so they put it up pretty high. I was told my my rep I would be at surgery place a long time. The Dr. that does the wiring says it will take an hour and a half but it took two hours just to do the trial. How much pain am I going to be in? I have heard the first two weeks were hell. I am getting nervous which doesn't usually happen. I just watched the video for the implant and the tunnelling looks horrible and my placement is so high. Can you give me advice on tips that worked for you and how bad it was?
