Hi there ! I am waiting for a call to get an appointment with a spinal orthopedist because my doctor think my scoliosis is getting worse too fast... Here is the short story.. 3 months ago I was all straight and all but had some pain caused by degenerative disc desease. Last February 3rd I suffered a fully collapsed lung and was in the hospital on a drain for 7 days. This is when I first heard of a mild spinal deformation called Scoliosis. At first, when my family and I looked at my spine it looked normal except a couple vertebrae looking off. Then in March we noticed a small deviation but you had to be looking for it to notice. Then during april people started telling me my shoulder looked uneven and that I was walking differently. We looked at my back and noticed that the curve was now Clearly visible and that the entire upper part of my body looked tilted to the left. I also started having difficulty taking deep breaths.. It feels weird on my right side (the concave side of the spinal curve) I also noticed pain in my right leg and loss of strenght in my right arm..
I went to see the doctor and asked and he asked for an urgent appointment with orthopedic spinal surgeon.. This is worrying me to the point that I now have anxiety attacks and have to take meds to control it. you can see the last photo taken on my profile.. labled with dates.. Do you think it is really that alarming ? Thanks everyone !! appreciate it.
