Neck, shoulder, chest and upper back pain

Hi, can anyone out there help me? I have breast cancer diagnosed in September 2012. I had a mastectomy in October 2012 followed by chemo and radiotherapy. I had a catheter implanted in my upper right chest wall for the chemo and ever since have had this feeling of something in my throat, chest, my neck glands feel tender. I have been and had a camera up my nose and into my throat a year ago as I was worried but nothing there. Im now convinced the catheter was causing the problem but I have been told by the surgeon this week it's impossible. I have had a neck problem for a few years due to pointing a big wall for hours/ weeks, this has worsened and I've been told recently I have a compressed disc in my neck, I have pains in my neck, shoulders arms and upper back, I've have some physio and have to sleep in a neck brace which helps at night in bed. Could this choking feeling in my throat (like bread neck) and chest be anything to do with this compressed disc. If it's not the catheter it's got to be caused by something, I'm at the end of my tether and so fed up with it all. I'm 64years old and always been fit and healthy, I live in France and have had all my treatment here but it's really difficult with the language getting answers.

Hope someone can help me. Regards Rita Everitt
