Sneezing & Running Nose

Hi, Its been 5 months my husband had a L4/L5, offlate he started getting sudden and severe sneezing and running nose, This is putiing us in a complete depressive state. Also recently when he is not able to stand dur to foot pain,we found thru Xray that he got affected with Plantar fasciitis. Post surgery, he is having issues with erection too. The physical activity has completely gone down to zero comparatively. His back aches when we have intercourse. Oh my godddd.....we are really worried what is going wrong with him.Are these the symptoms of FBS? Can you please explain the causes and what can be done please.

  • Welcome to Spine Health........http://www.spine-health.com/forum/announcements/spine-health-announcements/welcome-message-resource

5 months is far too early to decide that the surgery your husband had has failed. What type of surgery did he have? Is it a fusion surgery or a discectomy? A laminectomy? There are many different types of surgery done in the spine so it would be helpful if we knew what kind he had.
Has he discussed these symptoms that he is having, especially the erectile problems with his surgeon? If not, he needs to, and so do you. The problem with his foot may be related, or it may not be, and the erectile problems may be showing signs of a nerve being compressed. He may need another MRI or CT scan done to find out what might be causing the problems. The sooner you find out , the sooner you can get treatment going to fix it.
