What Can I Expect?

I know everyones experience and healing time is different, but just wanted to kind of get an idea of what to expect. I am scheduled for a 360 fusion of L4-S1 on 7/1/14. This is my first ever spinal surgery. I understand my surgeon will be able to answer these but I do not meet with him again until next month. Just trying to get a general idea.

What kinds of medications are you put on afterwards? (Currently on Percocet 10/325 x 4 day)

Does everyone receive a back brace, and how long is it worn typically?

HomeHealthCare is listed as a benefit in my insurance plan, has anyone had experience with this as far as a recovery from surgery or is this typically set for elderly or other circumstances?

Has anyone with small children (I have a 2yr old and a 1 yr old) had this surgery that may have some helpful tips?

Any information would be very much appreciated! Thank you in advance!
