I am 6wks. post-op from a second back surgery L4-L5 with extreme nerve root down my right leg. I cannot bend or lift or twist until July..doctor wants to make sure it is 100% healed before therapy...I sneezed 1wks after the first surgery so the laminectomy needed done again..sucked! Ok. so my question is..I started to walk (without permission) and my lower back has been in spasms..is this normal and just given permission to drive again..while driving I noticed that when I put my foot on the break that my back goes into spasms and it rolls much like a "baby in the womb" so to speak...only way to describe it! I tested it with my left leg on the brake to be sure of what I was feeling and nothing...is this all a part of the healing process..to scared to call my doctor for fear that he will revoke my driving privileges and or walking! They go away within an hour or so. I tested it with my leg up on my footstool and same thing...spasms...any help out there for me????
