Hello all, so I know that everyone is different, and I just wanted some advice. For the first 5 weeks I felt great (other than the normal pain which most get), but over the past few days I have been in extreme pain, but I think most of it is coming from my muscles, not necessarily my back itself. Since of course haven't been able to bend/twist/lift etc, I am wondering if most of my current pain is coming from that. Now if I accidentally twist, ok, then I get ALOT of pain... currently the doc has me on Vicodin and Valium, and I only take one Vicodin and augment it with an additional tylenol cause I am trying to just take one Vicodin every 4-6 hours... I also keep ice on my back most of the time to try to keep the pain down. Any advice from those of you that have gone thru this I would appreciate it, especially since I finally go back to work next week.
