Back again!!

December 2012, I made a wrong move and ended with L5S1 herniated. I lost the feeling in my right leg and basically was out for 2 months. My leg was numb and I felt the pain only in my lower back. Did the bed rest with some exercise and was back to work in 2mo's.Today, I have nerve damage from my hip to the last three toes but I can deal with this. Two weeks ago, I had some back pain and did the Arthrotec and rest like I'm used too but on Sat.May17, my husband took me to the hospital cause the pain was unbearable. Went to see my surgeon on Friday May 23 and he confirmed another herniated disc ~ the difference with this one is that I am in so much pain. It goes from my lumbar through my hip to the front of my thigh. I am on perks every 3 hours and anti-inflammatory...trouble standing and sleeping. My surgeon wants me to rest for 2 weeks and come see him again. I'm wondering, for others that have this, did the pain go away or was micro dissection the way to go. Last time I was worried about surgery, this time, I am ready to go under the knife...the pain is too great. Also, do you think they can fix the L5S1 rupture too or is it too late for that one? What is the time frame for these surgeries? I am going to ask my surgeon these questions at my next appointment, but was just wondering .
