Hello new member that has gone through lower back pain

My name is jamsim (James), and I hurt my lower back almost 20 years ago at the gym. I was working on my first set of deadlifts, my back popped and foolishly I stayed to finish my last 3 sets ... I had no idea :-(
The next day I could barely get out of bed, much less walk up a flight of stairs ... I was home for 3 days hoping to get better. Since that time, my back would go out at least once a year and usually when I was doing something simple like bending forward. And every time it would go out, I would be forced to wait at least 3 days so that i could get back to whatever sort of life was waiting for me at that time. Just forcing myself to stand upright was enough to mumble (I never raised my voice, even though I wanted to) whatever 4 letter words I could think of. It really bothered me because I am into health and fitness, and figured lower back pain was for others and not for me.

Boy was I wrong ...
