I'm a 58 year old male undergoing my first fusion June 2. I've always tried to work thru my injuries but this time I wasn't getting any better.
I've worked in logistics for the last 40 years and enjoyed the outdoors in my spare time. Motorcycles, kayaking, surffishing and just about anything to be in nature has been what I live for.
Needless to say when I had 3 Drs say my compression was so bad I was one fall away from paralysis I was in total shock. I've always been a quick healer and look forward to getting this surgery overwith so I can begin my recovery.
Thanks for a great site. I've been on here alot since my diagnosis and it has eased alot of my fears.

  • Rob,

Good luck with the surgery and I'm hoping you are back on that bike soon. I missed a handful of riding seasons but now on good days am able to get back on the bike. Don't rush your recovery, you guys down South get to ride all year long.

    Take care!
