acupuncture and massage for post surgical pain?

Hi everyone,
For some background info: I have had 2 spinal fusions (occiput.-C2) and ever since the first fusion I have had severe pain. I had my fusions due to a broken C2 when I was a child and lived with it for 10 years when it made a contusion in my spinal cord which caused tingling in my arms. I never had pain before my first surgery which was in January of last year. Ever since the first surgery I have had a lot of pain and according to the pain scale it has been since my second surgery it has been an 8-9/10 . It has not been fun. I have tried the tens unit, nerve blocks, PT, OT, medications. Now the pain clinic doctors want me to try a bunch of things including acupuncture and massage.

Has anyone tried acupuncture and/or massage for post surgical?
Thanks in advance!
