post sugery for c3-c7 laminoplasty

I am scheduled to have cervical laminoplasty c3-c7 on the 26th of this month, my question is I don't have in home care due to my family and friends schedules. My insurance provides for going to a rehabilitation facility. One of my questions is should I take advantage of this? My second question is my current sleeping arrangements are a couch and because I have good insurance I can request a hospital bed. Should I request it or just continue to sleep on the couch following my surgery?
