Hope this is in theright forum
I'm not entirely sure what caused my lower back pain but I think it's a combination of bad posture, too much sitting (hours and hours at a time) and starting a new job last month that involves a lot of bending and lifting. Around 17-18 days ago I was working a delivery shift (the 1st one i'vedone) and carried out a lot of heavy lifting and felt a weird twinge in my back. Thought nothing of it as the pain went away. Later that evening I was at the gym and sprinting on the tradmill and after a few reps I felt a sudden clenching on the very lower central region of my back and I slowed to a walk. The feeling persisted though.
The next day I was in terrible pain with my back and it's been the same ever since. The past few days though I have felt gthe pain shift from my lower back (it's a lot better there, although still present and feeling tight) and move in to my buttocks on both sides. I'm just concerned if this could be sciatica? Or could it be from using my glutes more as I've been bending in work completely with my legs the past week to avoid straining the back and that's not something I've done before. There is currently no pain in my legs or feet. Just a dull ache in both buttocks and lower back.
I've been doing plenty of stretches day and night too and use a foam roller to stretch out my hamstrings often (always have done that for months before the pain). Nothing seems to be improving.
I'm 24, male, live a relatively healthy life.
Thanks for any tips.
