Hello all, I'm a 43yr male from the Bay Area (San Francisco) and found out this week I'm going to be needing a Cervical Laminaplasty procedure. Know very little about this procedure/recovery, risk, etc. This past March I received a Cervical Epidural injection which work fantastic, (no headaches, stiffness, arm numbness) but was short lived. Had less than two months success with the injection, but did it feel great with no neck pain for the first time in years. The Dr said my surfing, motorcycle riding days are most likely over which I haven't come to accept just yet. What I'm wanting to know is what was your deciding factors to go ahead with the surgery? The pro/cons right now seem evenly matched for me at this time.
