Im a 34 yo female and Ive been having lower back pain on my hip area, sometimes going down my legs, for years now and this year i decided to have it checked and the MRI result says Grade 1-2 pseudospondylolisthesis, L5 over S1, Posterior Annular bulge, L3-L4 and L5-S1 levels with evntral thecal sac indentation and Posterocentral disc protrusion with annular fissure, L4-L5 level and bilateral descending L5 nerve root contact; bilateral flaval hypertrophy with central canal narrowing.

I dont have any idea what it says but the 3 doctors that i have consulted told me that i am a candidate for surgery:( but its not immediate. i am so terrified:( and now im trying to do a reasearch of my own to know what are my options? since the 2 doctors that i went to are telling me theres no other way but surgery, only 1 of them said that we can try physical therapy first and we will see if it will help.

I read from this site that surgery is a last resort or option for degenerative pseudospondylolisthesis, if that is the case so should i go for the surgery right away?please help im really lost. i dont know if i should go for the surgery since the pain is not really present everyday. its occasional like last year i had it once. this year twice and lasted for 2 days.

if there is someone in here who has a similar situation pls help:)
