wrong move

Hello everybody I am new to this forum. I am post op of a microdiscectomy about 3 weeks now. Everything went great on the surgery. I suffered through my herniated disc for about a year before the surgery. I have been doing my best not bend, twist, or pick up anything over 5 pounds. However, about 4 days ago I was laying on the couch and I was trying to get up and felt a sharp pain in my buttock and hip region. The pain is still there, and if I move a certain way I can still feel that sharp pain. It hasnt gone down into my leg yet, thank God, but I still feel it there. When I walk I dont feel it either, nor do I feel any pain in my lower back. Any suggestions? I find this forum to be very helpful and somewhat comforting.
