Hey everyone. So I got an MRI yesterday and the radiologist said I only have a slight bulge in my L5 S1. Went to pain management and my dr told me that it shouldn't be causing me this much pain. Was in an accident 7 years ago where I fell 70 onto my tailbone onto sand (I was hiking) so that messed me up. Problems ever since. Up until a couple years ago, when I started going to the gym I was fine. I had about 4 maybe 5 incidents over 2 years that made me unable to walk, sit, work but I responded great to the prednisone so I left it alone. Over the past year the sciatica has gotten worse to the point where I can't even sit or function like a normal person. I am comfortable sitting cross legged or with one knee bent under the other leg. I got 2 epidurals this month, responded to the 1st and the 2nd made it 5xs worse. I now can't drive for an hour without being in tears ( on oxycodone 10mg). Dr didn't look at the images yet but the report said I'm good for the most part. He doesn't seem to know what's causing the severity of my symptoms. He thinks it's my nerve (yea it felt like he put the needle through it) but I still have stabbing lumbar pain. Any experiences?
