I am very, very, very nervous about the prospect of back surgery. My spine surgeon says I need to undergo a right-sided L4-5 hemilaminotomy for decompression. I have made the mistake of reading too much on the web about people being worst off after surgery. I trust my doctors, so I am not looking for medical advice. I need to hear stories of positive outcomes. I am ready to get my life back, yet I am afraid my fear and nervousness may get the best of me. Thanks!
