Disc bulge, thickening of ligament and L5-S1, concavities in endplates??

Wondering if anyone could help me... Tried to google it and it was hard for me to comprehend. What does it mean when one has slight thickening of the ligament flavum and L5-S1. What are small concavities in the endplates?
Still trying to understand the mediocre to severe stabbing pain in my back where my L3,4,5 are, the severe sciatica, and the severe pain from sitting. This is all very frustrating.
