Hi everyone, looking for anyone that has had this condition successfully treated by decompressive laminectomy. I have had heavy duty steroids for asthma and wrongly diagnosed MS that have caused the condition. Have significant pain, great difficulty walking, weakness, abnormal gait, spasms etc. Have seen several drs before finally having MRI of spine showed condition. One at top hospital said he had only seen 2 cases of it and would not operate but don't get steroid injections that they would make condition worse. Surgeon at EDIT says surgery will stop pain and disability. Now my health plan has denied my one hope to get rid of this unrelenting pain. Any experience ?
