New Member with questions - pain for years when standing/walking

I have been in pain for several years. It has gotten to the point where I am desperate for help. The pain is between my shoulder blades to just below the shoulder blades. I can't stand for more than a minute without starting to feel the pain. Sitting used to relieve the pain immediately but now I still feel some pain when sitting (though not nearly as bad as when I am standing/walking).

MRI revealed a few small herniations up and down spine and one moderate to severe herniation at c5-c6 which the doctor doesn't think would cause my pain (pain would be higher if it was caused by C5-C6). I work at a desk all day and know that my posture is probably the main culprit. Is there anyone out there who has similar pain? I have no idea where to go from here. I have tried stregthening my back, didn't really help.

Are there other tests I should ask for?

Thank you!
