ACDF SURGERY swelling in front of neck

I recently had acdf surgery 4 months ago. I am I I new to this forum, and i am hoping someone could shed some light on what's going on. Obviously I had swelling in my neck after surgery but in the last couple months the swelling in the front of my neck the back of my neck will not go away. It comes and goes but never completely goes away. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem. I would appreciate if anybody could help me in this matter. I am getting to the point that I am having a hard time swallowing. My orthopedic Dr does not seem concerned at all...however I am very concerned. It shouldn't be getting worse with time. The back of my neck, shoulders and between my shoulders are constantly tight. I have been going to pt since b4 surgery. It only helps for 1 to two hours after then right back to swelling. If someone could help with some insight I would appreciate the help. Thanks to all!
