Urinary frequency

Anybody out there have urinary frequency with a disc herniation? My l4/l5 l5/s1 are both herniated. I have a wide range of symptoms all which are aggravated by activity (walking, bending, and even standing for too long). My symptoms include leg spasms, bilateral leg pain, toe twitching left side, pelvic pain accompanied with urinary frequency. The frequency and pelvic pain is awful. I had two injections in my back and each one took care of my urinary problems for 7 days each. Anybody else experience anything like this? I have not had surgery yet.

  • Glad I stumbled upon your post. I too have a herniated disk and experience all the symptoms above. I was just mentioning to my fiance yesterday how I do not get a full nights rest due to getting up and using the restroom so many times. I thought it was due to my water intake but it never crossed my mind that my herniated disk may be the reason.
  • Jbel do you notice it more prevalent when you engage in execise or do a lot of bending etc?
