long term knee and calf pain

I have had pain in the back and side of my knee and in my calf muscle. It has been 2 years now and I have had a MRI which did not show much, then I had key hole surgery where they cleaned it up and did a lateral release. If anything it made the pain worse and it took 6 weeks to recover from it. I have seen 4 different physios and nothing helps, stretching only helps for 2 mins. I have had minor lower back pain every now and then but it goes away after few days of stretching. It throbs when I bend my leg and I am struggling to work. Squatting is unbearable and I don't know what to do. If anyone has had a similar problem if you can let me know what the outcome was. Thanks heaps!
