hello everyone, I need some help. I had my l5-s1 fusion in April of this year, I continued to have severe pain, I contacted my dr over and over and was told that it is normal everyone heals differently, I understand that. but when my pain continued to get worse to appoint that I fell on the floor with severe pain, that's when my Dr ordered a ct, went for the results yesterday all to be told that there was something clearly on the ct that he didn't know what it was or what to do with it, thought it could be inflammatory reaction to the l5 screw ( the rest are fine) and put me on steroids, has anyone else had this PLEASE HELP

  • Some people develop metal allergies and it may be related to that. If the steroids don't help to ease the inflammation, the surgeon will probably want to order more testing to confirm the source of the inflammation. It could also be inflammed from the fall you took.
    Hang in there.........
