lower back pain and sciatica....new experience

Questions for everyone on here.

I have been experiencing lower back pain and discomfort for a few years now.
Symptoms include
-discomfort in left hip
-discomfort in left knee
-tingling and numbness in left foot
New symptoms (in the last few months)
-discomfort in the tailbone
-an itching sensation right at the tailbone (no visable rash. No noticeble cysts or ingrown hairs)
-itching also radiates down between buttocks but is localized to left side.

The pain i can deal with as it hasnt been incapacitating and i rarely if ever take pain medication.
However the itching is odd and a lot different than what ive ever dealt with.

Has anyone ever experinced this? What do I do?

Michael Snow

  • Have you ever had an MRI? I experience similar symptoms and it's nerve related. I would follow up with your Dr to discuss your options.

  • I have had sciatica for a very long time but I have learned how to control it and stop the pain without pain meds. Please visit my blog at homeremediesforsciatica.blogspot.com. I hope my regimen works for you as it did for me.
