New to the website

Hello all.
I was injured in December 2002 and I have been in miserable pain since. I have had a couple of surgeries, discograms, many many injections, daily meds, and I have been through every test any pain doctor I have been to has wanted to perform.
I have a spinal cord stimulator which does not really do much for me. I have a back brace, which helps, and I just started to use a cane. I'm 47 and when I'm really hurting, I walk like a 90 year old man.

Does anyone know anybody who had a bad back injury who suffered from pain for several years and did finally find something that improved their pain? I think my doctor is about out of ideas and I am tired.
