cervical foraminotomy

A user wanted to hear from someone that had good results from cervical foraminotomy. I had bilateral cervical foraminotomy, at the C6 level, on 7/31/14. I had no pain the day of the surgery. The next few days it felt sore. I was able to start working out on the fourth day. Today, 8/13/14, I played racquetball at almost the same level as before the surgery. I lifted weights with no restrictions from pain. I have no pain but I don't have full range of motion back. I don't have numbness in my C6 dermatome anymore. The way I recovered so fast is by the use of low level laser. I see my doctor for the first time after my surgery tomorrow. I am 49 y/o.
