street workout after discectomy

Hey, just wondering if are here people doing street workout after back surgery.
From what i have read "bar" is good for back so it may be good after surgery to start doing things like pull ups etc.
Wanna hear from people experiences(don't write me to ask my surgeron) :)

  • is exactly what you are going to be told. YOUR surgeon is the one who should advise you regarding your activities and limitations post op.

In my country i have hard time reaching my surgeon :) it is different here, you go to hospital and wait for surgery. You dont know exactly who will be doing it before a day of surgery :) of course im talking about free surgery covered by national health care(if you pay for it it is different).
I was lucky to be fixed by one of the best neurosurgeons with over 30 years of experience in this kind of things.
That is why im asking if anyone here have experience in this field.
