Bilateral Nerve Decompression

Hi Everyone

Just wanted to know if anyone has had this procedure??
I've had this a week ago and I'm still suffering from severe nerve pain down my legs? I feel so disheartened.
My consultant has advised complete rest, which is not so bad now I have Netflix :)
Any advice would be great.
C x

  • When nerves are compressed or pinched, they take time to recover from the injury. Nerves only regenerate at a rate of 1-2 mm per month, so it can be awhile.
That doesn't mean things won't improve in the meantime, sensations will change as the nerves recover.
You can talk to your doctor about the various nerve pain medications if it continues and the pain becomes too intense
