New Member 2 Years Post Op c4/5 Prodisc C- Chronic pain

Hello All,

Im almost 2 years post op c4/5 prodisc c and still having chronic pain. The pain started roughly 3 years back where I would complain of right shoulder blade soreness. At the time, I thought I was overdoing it playing hockey. Well, fast forward 2 years, after much PT, rest, and massage it wasnt getting better. I got an MRI which showed a bulged c-4/5. I tried the epidurals, traction, more PT, nothing seemed to relieve the pain. I now started to get a crick in the neck and pinching sensation when I look over my right shoulder. I was convinced by a surgeon to have the diskectomy. When I awoke from the surgery the pain was still there. I was optimistic that the pain would resolve after PT and healing I was wrong. I have done PT, chiro, message, stretching, strength training etc, but the shoulderblade and pinch sensation is still there. I wake up with a stiff and sore neck every morning. Ive done multiple ergo assessments, new bed, new pillows, muscle relaxers, tramadol, etc. The only relieve I get is tramadol, and thats temporary. I had the RF ablation surgery roughly 6 months ago, with some success, but now the pain is back to the way it was. I have both pre and post op MRI/Xrays. I was hoping I could get the forum to give me some advice on what to try next. Im 34, relatively fit, dont smoke, 1-2 drinks a night, eat very well. Where should I go for the best treatment options...I live in the atlanta area. Thanks so much for any help you can offer! Also, is there an easy way for me to post my MRI/xray?

Regards,

Jason
