TLIF post 3 weeks after surgery - new pain

I had my TLIF surgery 3 weeks ago. Aside from surgical pain I came home and started feeling pretty good. This past week I have new pain down my left leg behind knee and calf along with numbness/tingling in left big toe. I am so sore and can't find comfort. I am on hydrocod/apap 5/325 every 4-6 hours and it does not work. I have an increase in anxiety and irritability. I visit doctor today but am hoping for suggestions through this post. I have seen some people post that this is normal and that Lyrica helps. I am scheduled to go back to work on Oct 1st and as of today I cannot imagine being there and pain free. I am getting depressed that I am in more pain now! I am trying to be positive because I know recovery takes months but it's painful! Thanks for feedback in advance!

I am 5weeks post TLIF & have found I had much the same issues but with my right leg. I put it down to increasing my activity level. It has subsided for the most part now. My neurosurgeon wasn't concerned when I saw him for my post op review. I found hydrotherapy every second day has helped it a lot.
I continue to take 5mg oxycotin am & pm & paracetamol 3 times a day which for the most part keeps me comfortable. If you end up on Lyrica I was told that it takes up to 2 weeks to kick in. My dr failed to mention this, I was told by a relative who takes it. I'm also on anti depressants (prescribed for sleep but have the bonus effect of keeping me happy).
3 weeks is only early in your recovery (bet you're sick of people telling you that) That said I also felt crap around the 3 week mark, must be a bit of a turning point.

    Good luck with your recovery,
