We all hate spammers but there is no way of stopping them, the site developers have introduced a few measures that have helped but still they manage.

We delete them as soon as we see them but it is an ongoing problem throughout the day and night.
I have just logged on and saw the forum had been hit, unfortunately there are a few hours of the day when nobody is available to sit here monitoring, even when I am logged in I look away for 10 minutes or so, I come back and find spam.

I can only advise you that we do our best as member/volunteer moderators and hope this explanation helps you understand and hasn't put you off as this is a great site for support and information.
