Hey everyone,
I recieved a C1-C2 fusion due to an os odontoideum in January 2013 then in October 2013 I had an extension to occipital- C2 in October 2013. I had my 1 year post op and my screws are loose from my first surgery, I have too much ROM and because of that my C3 is clicking and degenerating faster. My occiput fusion hasn't really done anything that could help me so we will also be doing a hardware removal surgery. Has anyone had both a fusion and hardware removal surgery. Have you had to have more fusions later on? What has happened, I would rather be informed than uninformed! Also for anyone that has had a 3rd fusion can you tell me the outcome and what happened? I think I just need some support!
