Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to say hello and make an introduction. I had l5-S1 Microdiscectomy in 2008 and then a fusion in 2009 with pedical screws and rods. All was good for about 4 years until I was injured catching a falling child. I had a Discectomy in July of 2013 and 11 days later had to have emergency surgery to repair it. Now, they want to do an extension of my fusion with a TLIF profusion. I'm still pretty young and have been greatly overwhelmed. I'm worried about finding work again assuming the surgery is successful and I'm also a bit torn about going to a university setting or staying local. I'm also just trying to let go of my anxieties and turn them over to God. There are so many questions and scenarios. I pray this 5th surgery does the trick. I am glad this site is here but yet sad we all need it....if that makes sense lol
