Lifted too much weight two years after discectomy, now pain back & left leg

I am very scared. I lifted too much about a week ago, wet laundry, and now, the pain in my back is constant and I have nerve pain down the outside of my left leg all the way down to my knee on the outer side, and pain on the inner side down my thigh as well. It even goes down to my calf.

Does anyone have any idea of what I may have done or if they have experienced this. I hope I don't have to go back in for surgery.

I had the hardware removed from my back, but still have the replacement discs that were placed through my stomach.

Please help, anyone with any ideas or experience.
