Hey Folks,

I am located in India(Delhi). My mom had undergone a spine surgery with above details in Jan,2012. Immediately after the surgery she was told that she is fine now and will catch up movement very soon. But then, when even after a week, fingers of her left leg were irresponsive, doctor refused to accept any failure in operation and said patient was fine after operation. Gradually, we realized we had been fooled and it was a fail when we consulted several surgeons with reports and new tests. After that for like more than a year she took physiotherapies at different therapy centers in a hope she will get relief from her constant pain and retain some movement in her toe fingers.
Finding no improvement in the situation, and realizing that her nerves are getting weaker we quit her physiotherapic sessions. Now its over 2.5years this operation has happened, her pain has increased considerably and even with sleeping pills she is not able to sleep(coz of pain). I am so confused what shall be done. We have consulted n number of doctors etc with most common replies as: there is no treatment to this or you can just try another operation with no assurance of success and condition that situation may even get worse. I am writing here in a hope if I anyone can help me or suggest me anything as I am now so hopeless in this matter. Any suggestions are deeply appriciated. Thanks for your support.
