new pain near Stimulator site

I have had a Medtronic Stimulator implanted since 2012. I've adjusted to the stimulator and have had reoccurring pain in my lower back from time to time. Epidurals cured that pain or an adjustment to the stimulator. Recently I have a low back pain flare up, the pain went from my lower back to the left of the stimulator site. The pain is somewhat tolerable until I go to stand up and walk. Then it throbs and burns and I have a very intense pain in my left butt cheek that flares down my left leg. If I step the wrong way the pain takes my breathe away. any ideas of what is going on????? Can't get into see the Doc til OCT. 1 so any input would be appreciated.
