I suffer from lower back pain and am thinking of getting an inversion table. I see from this forum that some people have used them with some success and I was wondering which might be the best one to buy.

We don't recommend specific brands.......if you check the alternative medicine forums, there are several threads about using an inversion table. Most don't find them helpful.
  • Please check with your doc first. Depending on your condition it could cause harm.

I bought an 'average' one in the middle price range. They're all pretty similar just think about the handles for your hands & what looks more comfortable. I hated it!! I followed advise, took it slow, NEVER just get on & go straight upside-down. It sort of felt ok while I was on it but I felt weak & 'weird' when I got off & the pain hit harder than before.

I got a cheap, free shipping deal on a new one from the big auction site. I sold mine on Craig's List for the exact same money I paid for it. Nothing lost! I think mine was around $100 but I really can't remember.
