pain in buttock going into my calf

kris2470kkris2470 Posts: 1
I have been living with this pain for years. It comes and goes, but when it kicks in it lasts months. I am unable to sleep due to the pain. I have no insurance, I have went to our local hospital, sat for hours, for them to tell me my back hurt. When I am able to get up and walk I am bent over, unable to pick up my feet. This time the pain is mostly in my calf, it feels like someone is ripping the muscle out. I am so sorry to vent, but my family and friends don't seem to understand. Any ideas, so I can sleep ? Thank you
